When I was a kid, I was always infront of a camera. My family was obsessed with documenting every moment of my childhood. I remember heading to a local film developer store with my grandparents and being excited to finally see the photos magically appear. Then came the day of polaroids and next was my mother taking Blackberry Phone photos of me singing beyonce in our living room.
I have lost a few family members through the years and as much as it hurts, I am comforted when I can pick up a photograph and cherish their face when needed. These moments in time can feel vague and distant, but my family's passion for photography stored memories that will never be forgotten.
This is the reason for what I do. I know how important it is to have photos that you can always have access to. I love what I do and am extremely passionate about it. It gives me a purpose unlike anything else.
To me, photography is the most beautiful marriage of
art and connection.
I have always been fascinated with the luxury magazines, Vogue being my favorite. As a kid, I remember always begging my mom to buy me the latest issue so that I could go through all the latest in fashion. I loved how every shift in culture was reflected into every part of fashion.
When I started wedding photography, I noticed I leaned more into the concept of editorial shooting style. I take inspiration from Vogue and incorporate that into my photography.
My photos evoke emotion through the touch of fingers as you hold hands to the way the dress swirls as you walk down the isle. I am a die hard for flash photos through the day and embracing the vibrancy of your love. I want every image that I share to feel like it could be the cover of any magazine, because your wedding deserves that! I want the beauty of love and fashion to intertwine in a tasteful way that gives your day an elevated yet nostalgic way.
